What you'll be doing

As a live-in carer, you'll provide companionship, personal care, and domestic support (cooking, cleaning, etc.) to help your client live well in the home they love. You'll work with clients living with various conditions, developing your skills along the way. All placements are within 70 miles of Oxford, so travel is required and we'll contribute towards your travel costs.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and personal care as required
• Assist with daily living tasks (cooking, cleaning, etc.)
• Support clients to remain living safely at home
• Develop and maintain trusting relationships with clients and their families

Qualifications & requirements

• A minimum of 6 months experience doing hands-on care including personal care
• Experience with conditions such as Dementia, Parkinson's, Stroke and EOL
• Reliability, compassion, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Ability to commit to 6 week placements, with many carers choosing longer stays
• Willingness to travel across Oxfordshire for client placements
• Successful candidates will also be required to undergo a Standard DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
