Job summary

Libertatem Healthcare Group in the UK is seeking a kind, compassionate Live-In Female Carer to support a 55-year-old lady in her own home. This role focuses on companionship, meaningful conversation, and respecting her autonomy beyond basic care.

You will provide personal care, daily living support and assist with moving and handling, while coordinating with the community nursing team. Full training is provided; a minimum two-week live-in rotation is required. Diet preferences must be respected.

This is more than just a care role. Our client is looking for someone who will take the time to get to know her, enjoy meaningful conversations, and see her as the individual she is—not simply someone who requires care.

About the Client

Our client enjoys spending time chatting about her childhood, discussing books and films, and exploring historic buildings and places on YouTube. She values companionship and is looking for someone who will show a genuine interest in the things she enjoys.

The ideal carer will be warm, patient and thoughtful, taking the time to build trust and provide support with kindness, dignity and respect.

Full training will be provided for all aspects of her care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing personal care and daily living support
• Supporting the client to remain comfortable and independent in her own home
• Offering companionship and engaging in meaningful conversation
• Assisting with moving and handling
• Supporting with tracheostomy care following training
• Working alongside the community nursing team
• Promoting dignity, choice and person-centred care at all times

We're looking for someone who is:
