At Nationwide Care, we pride ourselves on being able to offer the very best quality of care, designed to support and meet both the physical and emotional needs of the individuals we support.

As a Live-in Carer with Nationwide Care, you’re passionate about providing the very best care. Working as a Live-in Carer, you will support the provision of a level of care that makes a genuine difference to the lives of the people you support. We will make sure you always have time to care, tailoring the support you can offer to your clients’ needs and wishes, enabling them to live in the place they love most – their own home.

Live-in carers live with our clients for the duration of their chosen rota pattern (e.g., 2, 4, or 6 weeks). You will look after one person or, at times, a couple, providing both care and companionship. Following a person-centred care plan, you will tailor your support to meet your clients’ needs, assisting with daily activities, personal care, or support in managing conditions such as dementia.

We will help you develop your knowledge through our specialist training courses and ensure you have all the support you need from our team of caring experts. We offer an excellent range of benefits, including the Blue Light Discount card, which offers a wide range of high street and brand discounts.

Our team of care managers and caring staff have a depth of skill, knowledge, and experience that can ensure you feel supported at all times. You might have previous professional experience as a support worker, or as a care assistant in a residential or domiciliary care setting. Or, perhaps you have personal experience supporting a family member or friend. If you share our passion for quality care, we would love to hear from you.

We can assist with sponsorship or visa requests – including those applying for a health and social care visa. We offer comprehensive training both professionally and personally. We reimburse UK travel costs for getting to and from assignments and offer highly competitive rates depending on experience.

  • MAIN DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will include but is not limited to:

  • You will be matched with a client based on your skills and your client’s needs, providing tailored support and companionship.
  • Following a client’s individual care plan, you will generally provide a daily average of 10 hours of care provision to your client.
  • You will have your own room and privacy.
  • Managing medical conditions such as dementia, stroke, and Parkinson’s.
  • Moving and handling, assistance with personal care such as washing, bathing, or toileting.
