Job summary

Carefound Home Care is seeking a Live-In Care Assistant to work in Cheshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire. You will live in the client's home for the rota (2, 4 or 6 weeks) providing companionship and practical care, with a strong focus on enabling well‑being and independence.

We offer high pay, full package including paid holidays and a pension, travel and food allowance, and career progression within a supportive local team. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of professional care experience as a live‑in carer or in domiciliary care, care assistant, or NHS support role.
• Driving licence and own car helpful but not required.
• Warm, patient, and compassionate with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Support with personal care, mobility and staying active.
• Assist with medication or specialist needs.
• Help around the home with housekeeping and cooking.
• Run errands such as shopping or collecting prescriptions.
• You'll need a smartphone to use our app.

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you'll live in your client's home for the duration of your chosen rota pattern (e.g. 1 - 6 weeks) to support them to live with well‑being. You'll need to be warm, patient and compassionate with a positive ‘can do' attitude. Your role will include:
