Job summary

Medicare People Limited is seeking a dedicated Live-in Carer in Addlestone to provide compassionate care in clients’ homes. You will assist with personal care, meals, mobility, companionship, and daily routines, while supporting independence.

We offer flexible placements, ongoing support from a dedicated care management team, and a welcoming environment focused on carers’ wellbeing. Training is provided at no cost, with additional benefits to follow.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of UK care experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Flexibility to travel and work in different locations.
• Experience administering medication is desirable.
• Live-in care experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care in a home-based setting.
• Support washing, dressing and personal grooming.
• Encourage independence wherever possible.
• Provide companionship and help reduce loneliness.
• Assist with mobility and safe movement around the home.
• Prepare meals and support healthy eating habits.
• Administer medication safely.
• Keep the home clean, tidy and safe.
• Help with shopping and collecting essentials.
• Record important information in care notes.
• Report changes in wellbeing promptly.
• Work as part of a wider care and support network.

About the Live-in Carer job in Addlestone
