Essential Functions

• Assist with activities of daily living: personal hygiene, ambulation/transfers, eating, dressing, shaving
• Prepare meals and snacks as per instructions
• Perform client-specific activities: hospice support, range of motion exercises, diet management, blood glucose monitoring, vital signs, medication reminders
• Conduct homemaking activities: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping/mopping, dishes, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, laundry
• Run errands or provide transportation as needed
• Live-in arrangement for 4-7 days per week, either occasionally or permanently

Preferred Experience In

• Personal care
• Range of motion exercises

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Experience as CNA, HHA, or PCA in home or facility settings
• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide, HHA, or PCA program
• CPR certification recommended
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Valid driver’s license and access to transportation
• Patience and passion for assisting elderly and disabled adults
