Job summary

Clover Care is recruiting experienced Live-in Carers to support individuals across multiple care packages in Norwich. You will stay in the client’s home for an agreed period, providing personalised care, companionship and practical support to help them live safely and independently.

Your responsibilities may include: providing one-to-one care within the client’s home, supporting personal care and mobility, assisting with medication, preparing meals, light housework, appointments and community

Qualifications

• Previous live-in care or support-work experience
• Comfortable staying in a client’s home for agreed periods
• Compassionate, patient, reliable and respectful
• Ability to promote client dignity, choices and independence
• Able to communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals
• Willing to complete package-specific training and competency assessments
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and emotional reassurance
• Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns
• Following individual care plans and risk assessments
• Maintaining clear and accurate care records

Depending on the package, experience may be required in:

• Elderly and dementia care
• Mental health or learning disability support
• Autism and behaviours that challenge
• Neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries
• Complex care and physical disabilities
• PEG feeding, epilepsy or medication support
• Palliative and end-of-life care
• Moving and handling

Successful applicants should:

• Have previous live-in care, healthcare or support-work experience
• Be comfortable staying in a client’s home for agreed periods
• Be compassionate, patient, reliable and respectful
• Promote the client’s dignity, choices and independence
• Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals
• Follow care plans and maintain professional boundaries
• Be willing to complete package-specific training and competency assessments
• Already have the right to work in the UK
