The Live-in Care Professional will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services, such as giving medication, preparing meals, assisting with waking up and going to bed, taking clients out for errands or appointments. This can include personal care and light housework, which significantly enhances the clients' quality of life.
Key qualities include the ability to listen, communicate clearly, and build relationships with clients and their families in a friendly and professional manner. Respect for people from diverse backgrounds and beliefs, and a commitment to non-discriminatory care practices, are essential. The role requires excellent time management, organization, and reliability, along with good personal hygiene and a professional appearance. You will need to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body and have Class 1 business insurance if using your own vehicle for work purposes, or reliable transportation.
No formal qualifications are required. However, a passion for caring and motivation to help us achieve our goals are highly valued.
We are seeking a Care Professional who speaks Marathi to assist a client unable to communicate in English. As a Live-in Care Professional, you will receive industry-leading training, competitive pay, and excellent support. Accommodation includes three meals a day or an allowance, a private room, and access to TV and WiFi.
