Job summary

HomeInsteadcare is seeking experienced Live-In Carers to support clients across South Devon. You will be compensated at £1,050 per week (£150 per day) plus a daily food allowance, with a two-week-on/two-week-off rota and extensive support from a local team.

The role requires proven live-in care experience, compassionate reliability, and the ability to work independently. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred, with DBS and Right to Work UK checks standard.

We are seeking experienced, compassionate and proactive Live-In Carers to support clients living in some of the most picturesque parts of South Devon. We proudly offer £1050 per week (£150 a day) plus a daily food allowance - significantly above standard live-in care rates .

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in live-in care
• A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
• Confidence working independently in a live-in environment
• Ability to build strong, trusting relationships
• Strong understanding of person-centred care
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred

Key Responsibilities

A minimum of two years' experience in live-in care is preferred

Experience supporting people living with dementia is highly desirable

Must have the Right to Work in the UK

Ideally hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle

Confident using a mobile app for care documentation and communication

An enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service would be advantageous

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and proof of Right to Work in the UK.
