Job summary

Total Community Care Limited in Redruth is seeking a live-in care assistant to support an elderly client in their home. You will provide day-to-day companionship, personal care, and help with activities of daily living, shopping, meals, and light housework.

The role includes private accommodation and breaks, with ongoing training and clear progression within the care team. We offer a 1 Week On, 1 Week Off shift pattern, a paid induction, and DBS if required.

Qualifications

• Experience in bladder care, bowel management, and medication administration is advantageous.
• Strong communication abilities are essential for care delivery.
• Experience in a live-in care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day companionship and personal care to clients in their home.
• Assist with activities of daily living and practical tasks like shopping, meals, and housework.
• Support clients to live safer, more independent lives with sensitive, respectful care.
