About our Client
Our client is a Zoology graduate who is currently looking for her first job role after finishing her undergraduate degree in September 2025.
She has a diagnosis of Athetoid Cerebral Palsy and is a full-time wheelchair user.
Her many hobbies include anything to do with animals, eating out and cinema visits.
The client leads a very active life by looking for a full-time job and meeting up with friends and family.
With a joyful and delightful persona, as well as a good sense of humour, our client enjoys going out to social events, such as theatre and cinema trips as well as just staying in and watching TV.
As written by her...
“I am interested in nature and animals and will always take the opportunity to watch a David Attenborough documentary, as well as having our own supply of animals (2 dogs, 1 bearded dragon and a horse). I am a very social person, and now that I have finished my degree, I take every opportunity to go out and have fun. I can get socially anxious however, so will need some gentle encouragement when meeting new people. Saying this, I like to go to the pub, theatre, cinema, to eat out and to see friends. I equally like just staying in and watching a bingeable series. Looking my best is important to me, so a willingness to do hair and makeup is required. I have finally finished the four years of my Zoology degree at the University of Reading and am looking for my next adventure career wise”
During the Night Shift, I am partial to a late night but when I get a job this will have to stop. I will still attend theatre trips and meet up with friends when I can!
I have a pet bearded dragon called Dumbles, and you will need to change her water bowl (daily), give her and the crickets veg, give her medication (which you will be trained on) (daily), just get her out to have a cuddle and a run around (daily), feed her the live crickets (if she’s eating them) (twice per week), and bath her (a few times per week). I have made a separate care plan for her which explains everything in detail so it’s not overwhelming (I know it sounds a lot but it’s less than a Guinea pig or rabbit).”
