Job summary
City and County Healthcare Group Ltd (CCH) is seeking a live-in care assistant to support an elderly client in her Cambridge home. You will provide day-to-day companionship, personal care, help with daily living activities, and assist with shopping, meals, and light housework.
Full training and ongoing career progression are provided, and you will receive a private room and adequate breaks. Occasional travel with the client is required as the family travels; you’ll join a supportive team
Qualifications
- Experience in live-in care settings is highly advantageous.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients who have complex needs.
- Experience with bowel and bladder care is beneficial.
- Commitment to compassionate, client-centered support.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day companionship and personal care in the client’s home.
- Assist with activities of daily living, shopping, meals and housework.
- Support safe, comfortable living and monitor well-being.
- Travel with the client when the family goes abroad or on trips.
- Complete training and participate in ongoing career progression.
