Job Overview

Are you a recent graduate or someone passionate about making a positive impact? This is an excellent opportunity to become a live-in care assistant / companion to a university student studying Social Work at Oxford Brookes, who is currently on her first placement.

Location and Schedule
  • Location: Oxford
  • Shift Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off (Live in)
  • Start Date: ASAP
Pay & Benefits
  • Pay: £160 per day / £1,120 per week worked
  • Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)
  • Training: Bespoke training tailored to the client's needs
  • Support: On-call support from the client coordinator
About the Role

This role involves assisting a full-time electric wheelchair user with daily activities, fostering an open and honest relationship, and encouraging her to live her best life. Responsibilities include:

  • Personal Care: Toileting, showering, dressing
  • Health Care: Administering medication
  • Social Support: Outings, attending gigs or clubs
  • Daily Living: Cooking, shopping, cleaning
  • Transportation: UK Driving Licence is essential

No prior care experience needed; full training will be provided.
