CCH, Total Community Care in Redruth, seeks live-in care assistants to support elderly clients at home. You will provide companionship, personal care, and help with daily activities, with a private room and regular breaks.

This role requires empathy, resilience, and strong communication. Salary is weekly with shifts: 1 week on, 1 week off; DBS check paid, training provided, and opportunities for career progression.

Formación

• Experience in bladder care, bowel management and medication administration is advantageous.
• Experience in delivering live-in care is preferred.
• Strong communication abilities are essential for client interactions.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day companionship and personal care to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living, shopping, meals and housework.
• Ensure clients live safer, supported lives in their own homes.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Our live-in care assistants are extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting vulnerable people to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll provide day-to-day companionship, and personal care, assist clients with the activities of daily living, and help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.

We support all our Live-in Care Assistants and provide training as well as opportunities for career progression. You will be provided with your private room and have adequate breaks each day. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll have to make your clients’ days brighter.

We are looking for an active kind, caring and empathetic live in carerfor aclient that is an elderly lady with multiple sclerosis. You will be supporting with feeding, personal care and domestic duties.

There are also ducks and chickens at the premises which require feeding daily.

In terms of clinical aspects there may be catheter care, which is changed by district nurses, PRN medication and specialist moving and handling via tracking hoist.

• Experienced in a Live In care setting.
