Advantage Healthcare Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a compassionate live-in carer to support an elderly client at home. Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, helping with daily living activities, shopping, meals, and light housework.

Supporting vulnerable people to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll provide day-to-day companionship, and personal care, assist clients with the activities of daily living, and help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework.
We support all our Live-in Care Assistants and provide training as well as opportunities for career progression. You will be provided with your private room and have adequate breaks each day. We are looking for an active kind, caring and empathetic live in carer who can support the client in her home with personal care and activities and also accompany her on her many weekly activities.
The client is an elderly lady with an acquired brain injury, where she uses hand signal and facial expressions to communicate, she can also write or draw sometimes to communicate with her care team.
In terms of clinical aspects you will be providing bowel and bladder care, where full training will be provided.
The family do occasional go abroad on holiday with the client, therefore you will be required to travel with them.
