Salary: £27,800 - £29,000 (plus London Weighting) depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Live Events Assistants are responsible for providing comprehensive Production support to the Live Events Managers for the delivery of the flagship events for the popular music radio stations. The flagship events include Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Glastonbury and Radio 2 in the Park.
You’ll be responsible for leading on delivering complex requirements for travel, accreditation, and providing comprehensive administrative support around all aspects to ensure efficient delivery of our events.
You will be working in a radio broadcast or event production environment including concerts, festivals and studio sessions for use on multiple platforms. You will need to demonstrate a passion and interest for live music and events.
You will be planning, coordinating, organising and collaborating with others on tasks and wider projects. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required. A strong attention to detail is needed as you’ll be working with large volumes of data while managing competing demands and financial and time constraints. Therefore, advanced Excel and data manipulation knowledge would be advantageous.
Knowledge of data protection, health and safety, sustainability, editorial and legal policies are key and you’ll be applying these to all stages of the live music production and post-production process.
