Job summary

Wates Smartspace is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of cut-and-carve, refurbishment and commercial fit-out projects across sectors. You will manage live, occupied environments with a strong focus on safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Applicants should have proven experience in refurbishment and fit-out delivery, excellent stakeholder management and a thorough understanding of construction methodologies and project controls. SMSTS/CSCS are desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• Experience managing projects in live, occupied environments.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Desirable: SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and successful delivery of fit out and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and delivery strategies.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Ensure works follow contractual obligations and company procedures.
• Manage project teams to achieve safety, quality and financial targets.
• Lead project meetings, progress reviews and client presentations.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
