SWIFT Temps Ltd is seeking a Litter Picker Operative in Bradford to join a local authority waste and recycling team. This permanent, ongoing position offers a four-day working week, 12.71 GBP per hour PAYE, and consistent work with on-site parking.

The role involves outdoor duties in all weather, teamwork, and following health and safety procedures, with start ASAP and a typical four-day schedule (Mon-Thu 6:00–14:30, Fri 6:00–14:00).

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual duties.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good attendance and reliability.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in waste, recycling, street cleaning or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• A positive attitude and good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Keep public areas clean and tidy as part of a team.
• Collect litter from streets, public areas and designated routes.
• Empty and handle litter bags and waste materials.
• Support the wider waste and recycling team as required.
