We are working with a leading, modern Legal 500 law firm with over 25 years of expertise in debt recovery litigation, who are looking to strengthen their Finance Recovery Team in both Wigan and Liverpool.

Key Practice Areas:

• Finance: Acting for clients ranging from SMEs to leading UK credit and car finance providers.
• Local Authority: Supporting over 85 councils across England & Wales in recovering unpaid business rates, council tax, and handling complex cases.
• Housing: Representing some of the UK’s largest accommodation providers in the private rental, student, and Build to Rent sectors.

The Role

They are seeking a solicitor or experienced litigator to join the Finance Recoveries Team. This role offers the chance to work with a strong national client base on a diverse caseload of commercial litigation and debt recovery matters.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience in commercial litigation
• Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
• Background in debt recovery and enforcement methods
• Ability to manage and prioritise a varied caseload under deadlines
• Experience in handling complex, litigated matters (independently or in support)
• Commercial awareness with a client-focused approach
