Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is helping a respected practice in Romford, East London, recruit a Litigation Solicitor. The role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of commercial and individual dispute resolution matters and progress toward leadership within the department.

You will handle general litigation matters, build relationships with clients and referrers, and contribute to business development, with some hybrid working and a supportive team culture to accelerate progression.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in General Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
• Experience in assisting with matters for commercial and individual clients across a wide range of litigation areas.
• Experience with LEAP case management system preferred.
• Able to work autonomously on tasks set.
• Track record of achieving career goals.
• Enthusiasm to engage in networking and business development.
• Clear demonstrable ability to build and maintain client and referrer relationships.
• Self-motivated team player with ambition to progress.
• Excellent administration and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is seeking either a Litigation Solicitor to join their team in Romford, East London.

There is a need to expand this department due to the level of enquiries we receive, and the quality of work being referred to them daily. They have a great reputation and an impressive existing caseload. We need someone who has the passion to help grow this department with the possibility of progressing to Director within the next couple of years. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has completed as much as they can where they are but wishes to join a longstanding practice with the opportunity of fast-track progression.

You should have a passion to provide the most excellent in client care and have leadership qualities.

Candidate

• 2+ years experience in General Litigation and Dispute Resolution
• Experience in assisting with matters on behalf of commercial and individual clients on a wide range of litigation matters to include, contested probate, landlord and tenant, breach of contract claims, debt recovery, property disputes, and commercial litigation
• Experience in LEAP case management system preferred
• Able to work autonomously on tasks set
• Track of record of achieving career goals
• Enthusiasm to engage in networking and business development;
• Clear demonstrable ability and keenness to build and maintain client and referrer relationships;
• Self-motivated team player
• Ambition to progress
• Excellent administration and organisational skills;
• Professional but friendly and approachable
• Fairly local and able to commute to Romford daily (please do not apply if outside of 30-mile radius)
