Job summary

Edwards & Pearce Limited is seeking a qualified Litigation Solicitor (CILEX acceptable) to lead a busy Recovery Team. The role requires office presence in Grimsby, with some days at the Hull office. Candidates at all seniority levels, including potential Fixed Share Partner track, will be considered.

The successful solicitor will manage a team, demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and drive litigation and debt recovery strategies within a market-leading firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with litigation experience; CILEX qualification acceptable.
• Must have management experience of leading a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead an established Recovery Team.
• Maintain office presence in Grimsby with possible 1–2 days at the Hull office.

Job description

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a qualified Litigation Solicitor (CILEX acceptable) with a leading law firm and market leader in litigation and debt recovery. My client is a multi branch legal firm and a market leader in litigation and debt recovery. Due to an ever increasing work load within this very successful Recovery Team my client is looking to appoint a further qualified solicitor (CILEX also acceptable) experienced in litigation.

The role will involve managing and leading an established team and require an office presence in Grimsby although 1-2 days may be possible from the Hull office. The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor experienced in litigation, CILEX qualification is also acceptable. Candidates are welcome to apply at all levels of seniority including those looking for a Fixed Share Partner role, hence the broad salary banding. Candidates need to have management experience of successfully leading a team and therefore exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required both in writing and verbally. Self confidence and the ability to articulate effectively is essential as is a team playing, collaborative approach.
