Our client is a leading UK law firm looking to recruit a litigation solicitor to deal with a variety of work sourced primarily from insurance sector clients.

Role Overview

The firm is recognized as one of the leading firms focused on the insurance sector. The role involves joining the property and liability litigation team, which specializes in property damage, coverage, product liability, and subrogated claims.

The primary focus of this role is to manage your own caseload and support more experienced lawyers with their complex, high-value cases.

Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a solicitor who can demonstrate:

• Ideally, prior experience in property damage and recoveries work, dealing with issues related to quantum, coverage, liability, and case strategy.
• Alternatively, candidates with a background in litigation interested in retraining into this area will be considered, provided they have litigated cases and a good understanding of CPR.
• A background in insurance-related work is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication skills, as there is frequent interaction with key clients.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
