Job summary

Synergy Personnel Services is recruiting a Litigation Solicitor for a Leicester-based role. You will manage a varied caseload in civil and commercial litigation, providing expert advice and representation across disputes from contracts to property and debt recovery.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years PQE, strong advocacy, and excellent client care skills. You will work independently and as part of a team within a busy high street firm, with a supportive environment and flexible options.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE in litigation (civil or commercial).
• Have a strong understanding of the litigation process and proven advocacy skills.
• Have excellent communication and client care abilities.
• Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have solid organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from instruction to completion.
• Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiating settlements.
• Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies.
• Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements.
• Liaising with clients, other solicitors and court personnel in a professional manner.
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff when required.

The Role
