Overview

Commercial Litigation Solicitor
(Full-Time | Competitive Salary | 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays)

We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a busy and well-regarded litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-value and complex disputes within a progressive, forward-thinking practice.

The ideal candidate will have around 4-5 years' PQE (although applicants outside this range will also be considered) and will be confident managing their own caseload of commercial disputes while contributing to the ongoing growth of the team.

The Work

• You'll be exposed to a wide variety of matters including:
• Commercial and contract disputes
• Insolvency disputes
• Mediation and arbitration
• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Property and construction disputes
• Reputation management
• Contentious trusts and probate
• Industry-specific or disciplinary tribunal work

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a broad caseload of commercial litigation matters from instruction to resolution
• Providing high-quality legal advice and drafting clear, effective legal documents
• Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
• Managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with the CPR and all other relevant legal and regulatory requirements

About You

• Solid experience across a wide range of commercial litigation matters
• Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
• Proven technical ability and a record of delivering successful outcomes for clients
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
• Ability to prioritise, manage deadlines, and handle complex cases independently
• Proactive, client-focused approach with excellent communication and organisational skills
• Confidence to market services and contribute to the growth of the department
