The successful candidate will manage a caseload primarily focused on property litigation, alongside a solid proportion of general commercial litigation matters. The role requires advising both landlords and tenants on a broad range of issues arising under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, including dilapidations, relief from forfeiture, lease forfeiture, tenant arrears, insolvency, actions against guarantors, recovery of rent and possession proceedings, including matters involving squatters. On the commercial side, the solicitor will act for clients across a wide spectrum of disputes, including breach of contract, building and construction matters, professional negligence claims, debt recovery, insolvency-related issues, company and partnership disputes, as well as wills and inheritance claims.
