Job summary

Funding Circle in London is seeking an experienced paralegal to support litigation and insolvency matters on a hybrid basis. You’ll draft pre-action protocol correspondence, prepare documents for formal recovery actions, and liaise with external panel firms.

You’ll manage a large caseload, assist with costs recovery, and help coordinate with investors in a fast‑growing fintech environment that values ownership and impact.

The role

London (Hybrid) | 3 days in the office | Competitive Salary + Benefits

You’ll make a real difference for our customers and your team from day one. We believe the fastest way to grow is by doing, so we give you the ownership to run with things and see real-time results.

• Drafting pre-action protocol correspondence and ensuring compliance with the protocol.


• Drafting with adequate supervision documents in order to commence and conclude formal recovery action on behalf of investors, whether it is liquidation, administration, bankruptcy or county court procedures.


• Drafting and negotiating security documents, such as charges and deeds of priority, and settlement agreements.


• Negotiating with regard to Insolvency and Litigation matters.


• Managing a large caseload and managing costs and recovery of costs.


• Assisting with administrative duties relating to case management.


• Liaising with external panel firms with regard to issues and cases.
