Overview

Our client, a respected law firm based in Exeter, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a Partner, assisting with a caseload that is predominantly personal injury matters, alongside some general litigation and clinical negligence work.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of litigation matters and will also have the opportunity to manage their own small caseload under supervision. This role offers clear progression opportunities, including support for further study and career development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting a Partner with a varied caseload of personal injury, clinical negligence, and general litigation matters.
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries.
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, and external parties.
  • Managing a small caseload independently with appropriate supervision.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience within Litigation, Personal Injury or Clinical Negligence essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • A proactive, motivated, and professional approach.
