Overview

Litigation Paralegal TSR Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded law firm seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their busy and supportive Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious paralegal to develop their experience across a broad range of civil litigation matters, supporting landlords, letting agents, and both private and commercial clients.

Responsibilities
  • Handling possession claims from start to finish, including:
    • Preparing and serving relevant notices (to quit or seeking possession).
    • Liaising with clients, agents, solicitors, barristers, and courts.
    • Issuing possession applications, obtaining possession orders, and enforcing them through to eviction where required.
  • Managing the recovery of unpaid rent and other money claims, including enforcement of judgments via County Court processes.
  • Assisting fee earners with case preparation, particularly in property disputes and contentious probate matters in both the County Court and High Court.
  • Managing client enquiries and progressing these into active files.
  • Opening files, preparing client care documentation, and maintaining case records.
  • Attending client meetings, networking events, and firm-wide functions as required - occasionally outside normal office hours.
  • Providing support to the team supervisor and contributing to the delivery of high-quality client service.
About You
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using case management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to analyse information and present clear, accurate findings.
  • Experience drafting correspondence, County Court pleadings, and applications.
  • Working knowledge of residential landlord and tenant law.
  • Confident advising clients within your level of expertise.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues is advantageous.
  • Team player with the ability to thrive in an open-plan, collaborative environment.
