Job summary

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm in Beverley for a Legal Secretary (Litigation) to join their busy team on a permanent basis.

The role focuses on providing high-quality secretarial support to solicitors, managing diaries and documents, and assisting with billing and AML/compliance checks in a supportive and professional environment. Salary is £25,000–£27,000 per annum DOE.

Qualifications

• Experienced Legal Secretary, ideally with a background in Litigation.
• Support fee earners by preparing and maintaining legal documents and case files.
• Manage solicitors' diaries, appointments and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to solicitors and fee earners
• Prepare, format, amend, and maintain legal documents, correspondence, and case files
• Manage solicitors' diaries, arrange appointments, and coordinate meetings
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and time recording processes
• Support onboarding of new clients, including AML and compliance checks
• Liaise with clients professionally via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings
