Qualifications

• Full-time Litigation Lawyer (Solicitor or CILEx qualified).
• Minimum 6 years PQE with expertise in debt recovery and commercial disputes.
• Experience in property litigation is a plus.

Essex Law is a specialist Debt Recovery and Litigation practice based in Clacton-on-Sea, advising businesses and individuals across the country. Traditionally focused on Financial Services, we're now expanding into Employment and Property Litigation, and we want you to grow with us.

We're looking for a full-time Litigation Lawyer (Solicitors or CILEx qualified) to take ownership of a varied caseload. You'll work on debt recovery, commercial disputes, data protection, consumer credit matters, and more. Experience in property litigation is a plus but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cases across small claims, Fast Track, and Intermediate Track proceedings
• Provide expert advice to clients — both individuals and companies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers
• Support junior team members through mentoring and guidance
• Contribute to firm growth by identifying new business opportunities and promoting our services
• Collaborate with the team to meet monthly targets and KPIs
