Paralegal / Litigation Executive – This ‘top tier’ international law firm is looking for a Paralegal or Litigation Executive with EL/PL experience, preferably from a defendant perspective. The role is designed to enable you to run your own caseload of casualty EL/PL files whilst assisting other fee earners on a range of matters.

The hiring managers are looking for someone with experience of handling their own caseload of EL/PL matters, ideally from a defendant perspective though claimant experience will also be considered. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of work. The role will vary depending on your experience, but as a guide, you will be:

• Varied client base from ‘tier 1’ insurers to local authorities and emergency services

The EL/PL team represents insurer and corporate clients in a variety of legal disputes from fast track ‘slips n trips’ to accidents at work and high profile multi track and Large Loss matters.

They also advise a number of public bodies including local authorities and emergency services such as the police. As a result, claims can include more niche specialist areas such as injuries sustained whilst in Police custody as well as other areas such as misfeasance.
