Job summary

PPL PRS Ltd is seeking a Legal Executive to oversee litigation, enforcement, and debt recovery matters. You will support internal case handlers, manage our panel of litigation firms, and brief senior management on case strategy.

The role requires excellent drafting, negotiation and legal analysis, with a focus on commercial risk and recoveries. Responsibilities include advising on disputes with licensees/users, driving improvements to processes, and ensuring compliance with Civil Procedure

Qualifications

Chartered Legal Executive qualification or equivalent.
At least 2 years of civil litigation experience post-qualification.
Experience in debt recovery.
Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules.
Experience managing external legal providers.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee and support litigation and enforcement matters for debt recovery and IP infringement.
Support internal case handlers and manage panel of litigation firms.
Brief senior management and stakeholders on cases and strategy.
Develop and implement litigation strategies to maximise recoveries.
Draft clear, pragmatic legal advice and guidance.
Monitor developments in relevant legislation and case law.
