Job Description:

Accuflex is sourcing an Associate level Solicitor from NQ to 5 years PQE with experience in pensions. This is a broad and flexible role, ideal for someone who has developed a foundation in pensions litigation, advisory work, or both. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of complex and high-profile matters depending on their background and professional interests.

The work on offer includes:

  • Advising on regulatory investigations and enforcement matters involving The Pensions Regulator.
  • Managing claims before the Pensions Ombudsman and other regulatory bodies.
  • Assisting with professional negligence actions relating to pensions advice or administration.
  • Supporting on Part 8 claims, including rectification and interpretation of pension scheme rules.
  • Supporting clients as a key advisor on a wide range of regulatory matters.
  • Advisory mandates for both trustees and corporate sponsors.
  • Transactional support, including pensions due diligence and risk assessments.

The team is collaborative, specialist, and highly regarded within the sector. While the core need is within the contentious space, the role can be shaped to include advisory elements if preferred. This is a great opportunity to work closely with leading pensions lawyers on both strategic and technical legal issues.
