You will work remotely, providing interpreting services over the phone or via video calls, interpreting conversations accurately and efficiently in various professional settings.

• Interpreting between English and your native language over the phone or video.
• Providing interpretation services to clients with limited English proficiency.
• Interpreting for legal, health, and local government services.
• Checking understanding after each sentence.
• Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
• Providing accurate, confidential, and impartial interpreting services.
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the Code of Conduct.

About You

• Fluent in English and another language.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Age 21 or over.
• Qualifications such as:
  • Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
  • Community Interpreting
  • NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration (advantageous)
  • Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
  • Other interpreting-related qualifications.
