Are you an experienced litho printer looking to join a dynamic and well-established team?

We are working with a leading packaging company in Flintshire, who are seeking a skilled Litho Printer to support their high-quality production of printed packaging materials. This is an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced environment, where your expertise will contribute directly to the company’s reputation for excellence.

This role is working on the triple shift pattern (Mon - Fri 6am - 2pm, Mon- Fri 2pm- 10pm, Sun- Thurs 10pm- 6am).

The Role

  • Set up and run the printing machine, ensuring it operates efficiently.
  • Examine printed sheets and adjust the press settings as required.
  • Ensure production runs smoothly and meet KPI and quality targets.
  • Manage crew effectively and ensure all shift duties are completed as a team.
  • Maintain the printing machines and the work area to the highest standards.
  • Cover the No.1 Printer role during periods of absence.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback for process optimisation.

The Person

  • Experience operating Lithographic Printers (Heidelberg, Komori, KBA, Ryobi, Manroland)
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
  • Can work on their initiative and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Can demonstrate a flexible and creative approach to work.
  • Is willing to develop their skills through training.
  • GCSE standard education
  • City & Guilds Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Printing and Graphic Communications
  • Time-served apprenticeship
  • Solid understanding of the print industry, equipment, and processes

Salary and Benefits
This is a full time, permanent position working on the triple shift pattern (Monday-Friday 6am – 2pm, Monday-Friday 2pm – 10pm, Sunday-Thursday 10pm – 6am). A generous salary of £29.55ph (inc. shift allowance) is on offer for this role. Benefits include 26 days holiday plus bank holidays,
