Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Teacher of Literacy for Castlebrae Community Campus to join the Enhanced Support Provision (ESP). You will deliver literacy programmes for learners across early to second level within a supportive, inclusive environment for pupils with additional and complex needs.

The post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults. A PVG Scheme check and an Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering literacy programmes for learners at early, first and second level.
• Trained as Primary and Secondary teachers with ability to teach across stages.
• PVG Scheme or PVG Scheme update check required prior to appointment.
• Overseas Criminal Record Check if spent 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years.
