Historic England is seeking a Listing Coordinator to support the Listing team. This is a Full Time, Fixed-Term Contract until 31st March 2026 based in Birmingham with hybrid working.

What you will be doing
As our Listing Coordinator, you will assist colleagues in the Listing team in the delivery of targets and priorities. You will coordinate and administer listing casework for the whole of the Midlands.
You will act as the initial point of contact for customer enquiries concerning listing, ensuring high standards of customer service at all times. Ensuring effective communication with owners and other stakeholders.

Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
Good oral and written communication skills
Previous experience of working in a team environment
Proven experience of working directly with members of the public
Enthusiasm for the historic environment and its management
