Job description

An great opportunity has arisen for a Lister/Valuer to join our independent client based in Colchester CO3.

Property sales experience is a must; however, charisma, determination, energy, and an outgoing personality are also very important for this vibrant and forward-thinking company.

As a Lister Valuer, you will need to be confident in dealing with properties and clients across the range, including the top end, and be involved in the entire property sales process—from generating and carrying out market appraisals, achieving strong fees and high conversion rates, to carrying out viewings and negotiating deals through to successful completion.

You should have the ability to build long-term business relationships with clients and applicants, be focused and determined in working to targets, and be a strong team player.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating canvassing activities to generate new business
• Carrying out market appraisals
• Achieving a strong fee
• Helping to acquire a strong market share
• Effectively marketing properties to buyers
• Matching prospective buyers to suitable properties and arranging viewings
• Maintaining regular contact with buyers, vendors, clients, and other relevant parties to facilitate legal move-in and completion
• Dealing with financial and legal matters related to sales progression
• Guiding buyers and vendors through the sales process from agreement to legal completion
• Contributing to the smooth running of the branch daily
• Demonstrating excellent administration skills and proficiency with agency software systems

This Senior Sales Negotiator position offers long-term career prospects. Local experience is not essential.

The working hours are:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Saturdays with a day off during the week

The salary range is:

• £26,000 - £28,000 per annum basic
• OTE around £50,000 per annum, including a company car (Audi A5)
