Gazelle Global Consulting Limited seeks a Senior Linux HPC Engineer to support enterprise-scale Linux and HPC environments, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, Slurm, and GPU computing technologies.

Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK. Contract: 12 months. Working pattern: Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week. You will deliver reliable, secure and high-performing HPC services in collaboration with researchers and technical teams.

Qualificações

• 10+ years' enterprise IT experience.
• 3-5 years' HPC or research computing experience.
• Strong RHEL 7, 8 and 9 administration.
• HPC cluster management and Slurm.
• Linux-based scientific application support.
• ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platform.
• Docker and container technologies.
• Ansible and configuration management.
• GPU computing and CUDA.
• OpenMPI, MPICH and InfiniBand.
• High-speed Ethernet and HPC networking.
• Web server configuration and SSL certificates.
• RHCSA or RHCE certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with networking, storage, security and DevOps teams.

Senior Linux HPC Engineer

You will support and maintain enterprise-scale Linux and High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments, working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, Slurm and GPU computing technologies.

Contract: 12 months
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK
Working pattern: Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week

The Project

You will manage and secure a scientific computing environment supporting research applications and computational workloads. Working alongside research scientists and technical teams, you will help deliver reliable, secure and high-performing HPC services.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, patch and secure RHEL 7, 8 and 9 environments.
