Our client is a technology-driven cloud native service provider. They are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Engineer responsible for the smooth running of their RedHat-oriented technology stack.

Essential skills for the Senior Linux Engineer:

• Manage IT and computer systems including:
• MySQL, MSSQL, and Postgres databases
• iSCSI SAN Technologies
• Xenserver Clustered virtualized environment
• System monitoring
• Network configuration and management
• Firewall configuration and management
• Microsoft AD and Remote Desktop Services (Windows 2019)
• Scripting experience (Bash, Korn, C, Shell, etc.)
• M365/MS Exchange
• Container-based infrastructure (Docker/Kubernetes)
• IP-based phone system
• Experience with Cloud environments (AWS)
• Dell server hardware

Day-to-day duties:

• Maintain the company's DR infrastructure
• Monitor key systems for availability and capacity
• Schedule and prioritize I/O tasks
• Collaborate with management to develop systems and procedures
• Ensure security policies are followed
• Audit systems for issues
• Ensure systems meet SLAs
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues
