Your unique contribution

To create a pleasant experience for the guests by ensuring security of guests and the Linn House during the night. To deliver Hospitality with passion and providing truly memorable moments to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure Linn House is kept to high standards of cleanliness and the security of people and premises is maintained throughout the night shift.
  2. Liase with International Brand Ambassador and LH Evening Host to ensure all guests needs are accommodated to high standards of quality.
  3. You’ll be responsible to set and clear stations for guests such as the Whisky bar for drinks and Dining room for next morning breakfast service.
  4. Ensure that you carry out operations within Linn House conform to current Health and Safety legislation and report any failings to company health and safety representative.
  5. Be qualified in First Aid – Course delivered by Chivas Brothers.
  6. Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Linn House Supervisor.

Report to the Linn House Supervisor.

• Team up to 9 people (Permanent)

• Key relationships internal: Linn House Team, Blend & Single Malt marketing teams, Heritage/ International Brand Ambassadors Team.

• Key relationships external: Linn House Guests & Company Contractors.

Your blend of talent

This position could be right for you if you:

  1. Have general knowledge & passion of Scotch Whisky and Chivas Brothers Company brands.
  2. Have a good working knowledge of Night Porter duties.
  3. Possess good organisational skills.
  4. Have the ability to work within a team to promote the interests of the Chivas Brothers brands and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  5. Have good communication skills: ability to communicate effectively at all levels within and out with the Company to foster positive relationships.
  6. Have the ability to work unsocial hours, including weekends, and day shifts when there is a business requirement.
  7. Have a pro-active outlook and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances at short notice. Mandatory to be based in Speyside for this role.
