Retail Insights is Northern Europe’s leading retail forum. We are strengthening the retail ecosystem by building a platform for insights, inspiration, and networking, connecting more than 3,000 leaders yearly from more than 15 countries.

Retail Insights is part of United Media (https://www.united-media.com/) which focuses on building large scale industry media and conferences products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, etc. As of today, we have organically launched 8 media companies and acquired one.

Your Responsibilities

Your tasks will vary but mainly include:

  • Email marketing: managing copywriting, graphics, strategy, and optimization for newsletters, product updates, and promotions.
  • Social media management: growing our LinkedIn presence, experimenting with new content formats, and leveraging content on YouTube and Twitter.
  • Graphic design: maintaining our visual identity across marketing channels, with support and training provided.
  • Website management: design, SEO, UX optimization, and launching new formats reflecting our brand.
  • Analytics: measuring performance metrics across channels and working towards KPIs.
  • Paid advertising and PPC campaigns management.
  • Collaboration: working with other departments to identify content opportunities and share brand updates.

What we expect from you

No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided. Candidates must have a UK work permit and a university degree or be working towards one. We look for candidates who:

  • Are highly motivated and eager to excel.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
  • Take ownership, are proactive, and follow through.
  • Are curious about people and enjoy building relationships.
  • Have excellent communication skills, especially verbal and written.
  • Are well-organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Start date

Flexible. The role is onsite, Monday to Friday, at our offices on Buckingham Gate. Collaboration in person is essential for creating outstanding events throughout the year.
