Job description

Linishers/Grinder – Wolverhampton. Monday to Friday. 8:00am – 4:30pm. £13.50 – £15
Temp to Perm Opportunity

We’re on the lookout for experienced linishers/Grinders to join a busy and growing team based in Wolverhampton. If you’ve worked in the industry before and take pride in precision finishing, this could be your next role!

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
Day shifts only – 8:00am to 4:30pm
Temp to Perm – long-term opportunity
Competitive pay: £13.50 – £15 per hour (depending on experience)

The role:
As a linisher/Grinder, you will be responsible for the surface finishing of metal components using a variety of hand and machine tools. Your main duties will include:

1. Operating linishing belts, grinders, and other tools to smooth and polish metal surfaces
2. Preparing components to the required finish, removing weld marks, burrs, and imperfections
3. Working to detailed specifications and quality standards
4. Inspecting finished parts for consistency and defects
5. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

This role requires precision, patience, and a keen eye for detail.

The Person:
Previous experience as a linisher or within a similar industrial/engineering environment
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Reliability and a strong work ethic
Must be able to travel to Wolverhampton
