Qualifications

  • Experience in utilities and drainage, with a full clean driving license.
  • Knowledge of patching rig operation and confined space procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patching work on drainage systems and assess pipe conditions.
  • Ensure site safety and efficiency while managing team activities.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Lining Engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate, not just about the industry, but also about supporting our teams in delivering essential services 24/7/365 that really make a difference to local people and communities.

Your new role

Working from one of our custom-equipped Patching vans, you will visit all types of clients — commercial, residential, industrial, rail, road, utility, etc. — across the UK. You will carry out Patching work on drainage systems, assess pipe conditions, analyse results, and produce high-quality reports. All this in conjunction with our Jetting Units when required, therefore you will be responsible for all site activity ensuring the team is working safely and efficiently and ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale.

About you

  • Previous experience and/or qualifications within the Utilities and/or Drainage Industry
  • Full Clean Driving License
  • Experience running a Patching Rig
  • NRSWA Streetworks
  • Confined space level 2 and above
  • High-pressure water jetting
  • Banksman training
  • Experience with the following: Lining kit, RSM Sewer tronics UV system, Dann cutting equipment, Hot and cold cure Patching and Lining equipment, MiniCam Proteus.
