Job summary

Ipsum is seeking a Lining Technician to travel to sites across the UK from the Leicester office. You will repair underground pipe systems using patching rigs and lining kits, assess conditions from surveys, and produce clear reports while ensuring safety and timely completion.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• No drainage experience required; transferable skills welcomed.
• Experience with patching rigs or lining equipment helpful but not essential.
• Certifications like NRSWA, Water Hygiene, Banksperson training, High-Pressure Jetting and Confined Space Entry are beneficial, but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs on underground pipe systems using specialist equipment.
• Assess pipeline condition using survey footage and diagnostic results.
• Write accurate reports on completed works and recommendations.
• Follow all health and safety procedures on site.
• Work with Jetting Units when required to support the job.
• Keep equipment maintained and ensure job records are completed.
