Job summary

Lanes Group is recruiting for a Lining Operative in Bradford to join Sapphire Utility Solutions, a Lanes Group company, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions. This permanent role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 47.5 hours per week and a salary of £14–£16 per hour, dependent on experience.

You will work with patching and lining teams on sewer repair methods, using industry equipment, and you will receive training for tasks such as traffic management,

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving License is required.
• Desirable: ability to work overtime including weekends.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of utilities and traffic management (not essential).
• Competent in the use of iPads/Tablets.

Responsibilities

• Work with patching and lining teams to perform repair methods and move between contracts (training provided).
• Use sewer repair techniques with lining drums, cutting equipment and compressors.
• Set up traffic management (training provided).
• Confined spaces entry (training provided).
• Conduct risk assessments and update work packs.
• Be flexible for overtime and occasional weekend work.

About the role:

• Location: Bradford
• Role type: Permanent
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 47.5 hours per week
• Salary: £14-£16 per hour dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods so they can move around the teams and eventually runs a van across all contracts (Training will be provided)
• Use of sewer repair techniques using industry recognised equipment (Lining drums, cutting equipment, compressors)
• Setting up traffic management (Training will be provided)
• Confined spaces entry (Training will be provided)
• Risk assessments and updating work packs
• The operative will be expected to be flexible picking up overtime if required and the occasional weekend

Key Requirements:

• Full UK Driving License
