Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in the East of England is recruiting for a Linesperson to join a leading electricity distribution company. Role covers construction, maintenance and repair of LV/HV overhead networks, with live-line work where trained. Local patch, no regular stayaways, continuous training and progression opportunities. Competitive package with basic salary and OT potential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Linesperson / Overhead Linesperson / Linesman.
• Background in electricity distribution, ideally with a DNO
• LV/HV overhead line experience and relevant authorisations
• Live-line experience advantageous
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Construction, maintenance and repair of LV/HV overhead power lines
• Fault finding, repairs and restoration of electrical supplies
• Live-line working where appropriately trained and authorised
• Working in teams of 2-3 across a localised patch
• Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with overtime available
• Company van and fuel card, no regular stayaways
• Extensive training, additional authorisations and HNC/HND development opportunities

In this role, you will carry out construction, maintenance and repairs across LV/HV overhead networks, working alongside experienced engineers on fault repairs, new installations and network improvement projects.

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
