Job summary

Soho House is hiring a Linen Porter to maintain spotless linen and orderly storage across the club. You will support housekeeping and spa teams, ensuring timely distribution and collection of towels and linen for guest areas.

Ideal candidates have up to 2 years’ experience in busy venues, are reliable and proactive, and comfortable working in a hospitality environment. Training and team benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a housekeeping, laundry, or porter role.
• Good physical fitness; ability to lift and move loads safely.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills.
• A reliable, positive, and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Distribute clean linen, towels, robes, and other items to designated areas.
• Collect used or soiled linen and transport to laundry area or external service.
• Maintain linen storage rooms in an orderly, clean, and well-stocked condition.
• Check deliveries from laundry services for accuracy and quality; report shortages or damaged items.
• Support housekeeping and spa teams with supplies during peak periods.
• Assist in daily and weekly stock counts and report linen usage to Head Housekeeper.
• Ensure trolleys, baskets, and equipment are clean and safely stored.
• Adhere to health & safety and manual handling procedures.
• Respond to urgent linen or towel requests promptly.

Key duties…

• Collect used or soiled linen and transport it to the laundry area or external laundry service collection point.
• Maintain linen storage rooms in an orderly, clean, and well-stocked condition always.
• Check deliveries from laundry services for accuracy and quality; report any shortages or damaged items.
• Support housekeeping and spa teams with additional supplies during peak periods.
• Assist in daily and weekly stock counts and report linen usage to the Head Housekeeper.
• Ensure all trolleys, baskets, and equipment are clean, functional, and safely stored.
• Always adhere to health & safety and manual handling procedures.
• Respond to urgent linen or towel requests from departments promptly and courteously.

What we are looking for...

A successful Linen Porter for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
