Job summary

Merlin Entertainments at Alton Towers Resort is seeking a Linen Porter to join the Hotel Housekeeping team. You will manage linen stock levels, support stocktakes, and work closely with Housekeeping, Porters, and Room Attendants to ensure a smooth operation.

The role focuses on maintaining high appearance standards, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and contributing to a positive guest experience. A driver’s licence is desirable but not essential.

About the role

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and looking for a rewarding career in hospitality? We're looking for Linen Porters to join our Hotel Housekeeping team and play a vital role in ensuring our hotels run smoothly, providing the support needed to keep operations running efficiently every day.

Tasks

• Support stocktakes, including waterpark linen.

What You’ll Do

• Manage linen stock levels to meet daily operational needs.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping team, Hotel Porters, and Room Attendants.
• Maintain high appearance standards and adhere to all health & safety guidelines.
• Support stocktakes, including waterpark linen.
• Keep up to date with resort activities to enhance guest experience.

Working Conditions

A driver’s licence is desirable but not essential. Candidates must be fully available to work from 17th of December to 10th of January, excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Qualifications & Experience

• Enthusiastic about providing a top-tier experience for our guests.
• Willing to learn and develop within the role.
