Overview

Location: Doubletree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport. Klarent Hospitality is recruiting for a Linen Porter at the DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport, Edinburgh.

Role

• Linen Porter you will maintain linen control, report and record any linen abuse.
• Work to daily working schedules and ensure that all linen is counted correctly; identify differences on the daily control sheet.
• Maintain security of linen room keys and the linen room whilst on duty.
• Familiarise yourself with the weekly function sheet to ensure stock levels are correct and that the Food & Beverage department have their requested linen stocks.
• Ensure security surrounding the linen service cupboards on the bedroom floors is adhered to.
• Carry out evening security checks before leaving your shift so all linen chutes and linen stock cupboards are closed and locked across the building.
• Assist and be courteous to guests; display good customer care and social skills.
• Deal with guest complaints or compliments or refer to senior management at the earliest opportunity.
• Work in co-operation with staff and management; attend hotel and departmental training sessions as instructed.
• Work within all Health & Safety requirements.
